Heartbreak for Teddy and Cristina!

A new promo is in store when Grey’s Anatomy returns on January 5. It looks like viewers have to get through the episode with a box of tissue.

“Her husband just died in our O.R.,” Richard (James Pickens Jr.) says of Teddy in the promo. “She’ll never forgive any of us.” Grey’s is bringing on the drama in the second half of the season.

Cristina (Sandra Oh), who was performing the surgery on Henry when he died, is faced with the hard task of breaking the news to her mentor, Teddy. After making the decision to cover Henry’s face, seems like Owen (Kevin McKidd) will be in some serious hot water with Cristina.

Both Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Alex (Justin Chambers)  are still in the midst of the ambulance collision they were involved in at the end of the fall finale.  (Source: eKristin Online)
