Desperate Housewives Spoilers
Show Summary
A primetime soap with a truly contemporary take on “happily every after,” this hit series takes a darkly comedic look at suburbia, where the secret lives of housewives aren’t always what they seem.
The series began with Mary Alice Young (Brenda Strong) leaving her perfect house in the loveliest of suburbs — and ending it all. Now she takes us into the lives of her family, friends and neighbors, commenting from her elevated P.O.V. (Source: Tv.com)

Season Spoilers
New: Todd Grinnell. The actor, best known from the short-lived NBC comedy Four Kings, will play the plastic surgeon performing a little nip/tuck (or is it a skin graft?) on a Wisteria resident. (AusielloFiles)
New: Dana Delaney scooped last month that a man and a woman would not make it out alive. My money is on Mike Delfino (James Denton) not coming out of the fire since he’s a loved one for both Susan (Teri Hatcher) and Katherine. Then again, I’m not sure I can really handle another “Is Mike dead?” scare! You? For more on the big fire heading to Wisteria Lane, click here. (KristinEOnline)
New: Once Carlos gets his sight back, Gaby tries to get him a job to go with his restored vision. She gets a great lead on a high-paying financial gig, but Carlos wants to spend more time with the family and teach the blind down at the community center, and as you would guess, that leads to mondo conflict in the Solis marriage… (KristinEOnline)
Dave is hellbent on revenge, is a great guy, something happened and he will get revenge on someone. (AusielloFiles)
Desperate Housewives: Fat Actress’ Rachael Harris will appear in a November episode of Housewives as a reporter doing a profile on nationally renowned domestic goddess Bree Van De Kamp (Marcia Cross). (AusielloFiles)
Casting scoop pretty much confirms it: When Susan’s now-adult daughter (Andrea Bowen) returns to Wisteria Lane next month, she’ll be bringing along one helluva surprise: boyfriend Steven Weber.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that Desperate Housewives has cast the ex-Wings man as Julie’s thrice-divorced college professor-turned-lover, whose sudden appearance leads Susan to double her crazy-pill intake. Lucky for Mom, the happy couple’s visit will be brief; as of now, Weber and (presumably) Bowen are only on board for one episode. (AusielloFiles)
The Garage Band Gets a Gig: This Sunday, you will meet Wisteria Lane’s newest garage band, created by Dave Williams (Neal McDonough) in order to get chummy with the other guys, and later in the season, that band plays a pivotal role in the fire disaster. Marc said: “We have a huge episode that we just started shooting where all my regulars go to see a garage band from the neighborhood play in a nightclub. The nightclub gets set on fire. It’s connected to the mystery, and it’s going to be a huge episode.
Who’s in Trouble? Marc said, “It’s Wisteria Lane, everyone’s lives are always in danger.” Dana Delany dished: “We end the episode with someone not making it out of the fire.” Is that someone a man or a woman? “I think there might be one of each actually. The script keeps changing, so I’m not quite sure where it stands now.” Tell me it isn’t somebody we know and love?! “I can’t say.” Aaah! (KristinEOnline)
Desperate Housewives: Susan’s now-adult daughter, Julie (Andrea Bowen), is hightailing it back to Wisteria Lane later this fall, and I hear she’s got a helluva surprise in store for Mum. (Hint: It has to do with her new BF.) (AusielloFiles)
Dana Delaney told me that the love-hate relationship between herself and Bree stands strong—but that for now, the dynamic is definitely more the latter! As for the terrifying new neighbor on Wisteria Lane? Apparently, Katherine doesn’t seem to mind that Edie’s new hubby, Dave Williams (Neal McDonough), is married or that he might be a sociopath. In fact, she develops a little crush on Mr. Edie Britt. (KristinEOnline)
Desperate Housewives has tapped Gail O’Grady’s former American Dreams co-star, Peter Onorati, to join the cast as the husband of her soon-to-be-introduced cougar character, sources confirm to me exclusively. Onorati, who played Dom* in five episodes of Dreams, is probably best known for his role as divorce attorney Charlie Howell in Steven Bochco’s early ’90s legal drama Civil Wars. He’ll appear on Housewives on a recurring basis. (AusielloFiles)
He’s [Mike] not gone for good! He’s in the season premiere and looks to be sticking around. I’m told Mike and Susan have joint custody of their son M.J. and that they seem to see each other quite frequently. (Kristin, EOnline)
They’re currently casting for Parker Scavo at age 14! Apparently Parker has “grown into a nice, smart kid who is somewhat of a techno geek.” They’re also looking to cast a 9-year-old, blond, blue-eyed Penny Scavo. Penny and Parker will both be series regulars, and Susan and Mike’s son Maynard “M.J.” Delfino will be a recurring character. And of course, the Scavos’ twins will also be on board (they started casting for them last week). So lots of teens and tweens and young’uns who’ll be part of the new cast as Wisteria Lane jumps five years into the future. (Kristin, EOnline)
